Paul Müller Reyes

Der deutsch-kolumbianische Komponist und elektronische Musiker Paul Müller Reyes (*1996 in Aachen) konzentriert sich in seinen Arbeiten auf Räumlichkeit, Zeitlichkeit, Farbe und Textur im Klang. Dabei bewegt er sich zwischen zeitgenössischer Komposition, Klangkunst, Filmmusik und dem Erzeugen kontrollierter Unruhe. Er studierte an der Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf und der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz. Als ehemaliger Stipendiat des Ministeriums für Kultur und Wissenschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen an der Cité des Arts in Paris wurde er unter anderem beim Festival Acht Brücken in Köln und von Soundcinema Düsseldorf ausgezeichnet.

Paul is a German-Colombian composer who works with acoustic sound, electronics, and space—examining how sound enters a room, moves through it, and captures your attention.His work borders contemporary composition, sound art, film music, and controlled unease. He studied at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf and the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. A former fellow of the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia at the Cité des Arts in Paris, he has won awards from Acht Brücken Festival in Cologne and Soundcinema Düsseldorf.
